Application Overview

Welcome to the application for the Washington Bridge Small Business Grant Program. This program is designed to support small businesses located in East Providence that have been financially impacted by the traffic disruptions resulting from the closure of the northern span of the Washington Bridge in December 2023. Eligible businesses may receive grants of up to $2,500 based on program criteria.

The city of East Providence has partnered with Skills for Rhode Island's Future (SkillsRI) to manage this program, ensuring a thorough review and scoring of all applications. Final recommendations will be made to East Providence and the city will process payment to eligible businesses.
