Application Overview 

Welcome to the application for the Washington Bridge Small Business Grant Program. This program is designed to support small businesses located in Providence and East Providence that have been financially impacted by the traffic disruptions resulting from the closure of the northern span of the Washington Bridge in December 2023. Eligible businesses may receive grants of up to $2,500 based on program criteria. 

The cities of Providence and East Providence have partnered with Skills for Rhode Island's Future (SkillsRI) to manage this program, ensuring a thorough review and scoring of all applications. Final recommendations will be made to the municipalities for payment processing. 

Application Period:
Applications will be accepted from Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at 9:00 am Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at 11:59 pm. Please allow up to 30 days for updates on your application status.
